Bassem Elabed is a Tunis based photographer, retoucher, and post-production director. Self-taught, fifteen years of relentless curiosity, obsession, and passion.
For years, he has worked at the heart of the luxury and fashion industry, where every pixel is a decision, and perfection is simply the baseline. A world of precision, invisible work,  and standards that leave no room for approximation.
But behind the studios and the campaigns, there is a man who crosses territories without a fixed itinerary, chases light where no one expects it, pauses on a face, a creature, a moment suspended between two continents.
He comes back with images no one asked for, stolen expressions, fleeting light and instants caught before they vanish.
For him, photography has never been about documentation. It is about emotion, raw, unfiltered, sometimes uncomfortable. His travel images are not postcards, they are mirrors of places he has been, but more a representation of who he was when he stood there and pressed the shutter.
An eye sharpened by demand, set free by wandering.
